All is Well

Guess it's all starting to taking a toll on me as you can tell I am failing at keeping up with the blog as regularly as I was. I'm sorry for that and don't want you to give up on checking it for updates.

Tommy surprised us after his fifth chemo treatment because he need a blood transfusion. He normally does really well and recovers on his own. Just not the case at this point. This was the Thursday after the 4th of July, same day as Daryl leaving for a trip. We finally were able to get Daryl off on a trip and have me go solo with the kids - was worried at first, but we fell in to a routine.

Tommy just got done with his 6th chemo treatment and is holding his own right now, but his blood counts are dropping every day and suspect his lowest point will be this next week and fully expect him to need a transfusion and be hospitalized for a few days.

I'm VERY exhausted to say the VERY least! Keeping up with the treatments, side effects, and home life is a ton to manage. I'm also very active with clients and just don't have enough time to get to all things i.e. the blog. But, we're very blessed to have Tommy doing so well and work too.

Will try and do better here, but know we still need your prayers - don't give up. <><

Kim,
Take your time and remember everyone is with you and your family for the whole road, you are never alone.
No one I know is going to give up on you if we don't have a blog everyday. It just helps us keep up with you since we are so far away.
Hang in there and let me know if I can do anything special for you.

Always in my prayers and thoughts.

Love, Linda

Kim,
Just wanted to remind you how much this blog means to all of us! You do a fantastic job at it and everyone marvels at your strength to keep up with all that you do. When dad and I are there we want you and Daryl to take at least a night off for the two of you to have some K&D time. Your our source of information on Tommy, etc.
All our love!

The prayers continue to go up for all of you. I'm so glad that Tommy is doing so well. He is a trooper to say the least!!! Kim, I will especially pray for your strength to continue all that you do and I will also pray that you can endure through this crazy time right now. When I say I know what you're going through, please know that I mean it. After our journey the last year and a half, I know what it means to be exhausted. Do not allow the blog to become a pressure. Write when you can and keep checking in on comments, even if you don't post something new because the Lord will always be faithful to bring a new comment to you to encourage you and lift you up. Our family is praying for you daily and we are so proud of all of you for the love that you show to your family. Keep up the good work and be confident that we are all praying and pulling for you every day!!!!
